To get things rolling, we’ll need to take a look at all the rooms in your home that are suitable for shooting. This should include the living room, kitchen, dining room, hallway, main bedroom, main bathroom and an exterior shot of the house. Take plenty of light, clear images to help give us an idea of the style and space available within each room. Wide, landscape images are best for showing the full scale of the property rather than close-up detail shots.
Once taken, collect your images together and send them in an email to Sophie, the founder and director of Light Locations. She will carefully review the photographs and any information you send to see if your home will work as a location.
If your home has that something special, we will contact you. We may ask a few questions to find out more about the space and get to know you better. If your house is successful we will arrange a time to come and visit your property to see it for ourselves, as well as plan professional photography to represent the property on our website.

We will handle everything, from organising professional photography of your property to negotiating hire fees for each booking. We’ll also process all of the pre and post shoot contracts, admin and invoices using our seamless in-house booking system to keep shoots running smoothly for both owners and clients.
Our dedicated team will help you to understand what’s needed from you on each shoot day, and can easily be reached by phone to talk through any queries or concerns.
