Just as the seasons begin to turn, it seems that profound change is in the air. Anders House, an ever-popular location that has been part of the fabric of Light Locations for many years, is leaving our portfolio to turn over a new leaf.

Since joining our collection in 2020, it has been one of our most requested locations and consistently appeared in our Top 5 year after year. Now, as the house moves on to its next chapter with new owners, we’re taking a moment to look back at a location that has given us, and our clients, so many lovely memories. It’s not difficult to see why Anders House has proved so popular from the very start. Throughout this beautiful London home, timeless period details sit amongst considered interiors, creating spaces that simply sing in-camera as well as in person. Panelled walls and parquet floors feature throughout the lower floor, from the elegant living rooms into the open-plan kitchen and dining area. Here daylight pours through the Crittall windows, casting sweetly dappled sunshine onto neutral toned walls.

Marble fireplaces stand proud whilst the kitchen stretches its marble-topped cabinetry out in a rich inky contrast, all held within a surprisingly spacious footprint. It’s an incredibly versatile space with endless potential, one that has worked wonderfully across a wide range of shoots. In 2024, Anders House had a complete refresh of its photography, capturing the newly completed garden that now overflows with abundant foliage and holds a pretty patio perfect for outdoor gatherings.
Anders House has always promised more than just stunning interiors. Its owners were a professional photographer and his wife, who kindly brought their extensive industry experience with them when running the location. They understood what makes a shoot work well, and their knowledge and efficiency made the process wonderfully seamless for clients and production teams alike. It was a location where anyone could arrive knowing they were in safe hands.

Over the years, a wide variety of brands and household names have passed through the doors of Anders House. The White Company, Neptune, Loaf, Heal’s, Garden Trading, Next, Liberty London, Sanderson, John Lewis, Little Greene, Ercol, Romo and Piglet in Bed are just some of the brands that have chosen this home as a backdrop for their work.
The combination of generous daylight, strong architectural details and a subtly sophisticated palette meant that Anders House could always adapt beautifully to different creative directions. From interior campaigns to fashion imagery, the house provided plenty of character without ever overpowering what was being photographed, a quality that kept it quietly in demand throughout the seasons.

After six years with Light Locations, Anders House has now been sold and its owners are embarking on their next adventure. While we’re sad to see the house leave our collection, we’re incredibly grateful for all the shoots, photographs and memories it has given us over the years.
