Once the first of December hits, festive spirit is undoubtedly in full swing with joyous sparkle and excitement for the days ahead. Now is the time for hanging decorations, wrapping presents and enjoying a thousand sights and smells that fill us with a welcome seasonal nostalgia. Creating the feeling of Christmas is no small feat, but this year a number of our locations have been shaped by clients into stunning winter scenes that provide the perfect inspiration for the month.

Featuring a carefully curated selection of classic pieces, Cox & Cox’s Christmas campaign feels calm and delicate. Neutral wooden pieces pair beautifully with soft green and white paper decorations, with a simple yet elegant table display in front of a suitably lovely Christmas tree. The room looks warm and inviting, especially with the frosty pines outside, and there’s a feeling of being cocooned in a cabin with hints of scandi style.
The beautifully organic textures of The Willows lend themselves perfectly to this direction, with gorgeous oak beams, floorboards and stairs. Although this regency farmhouse is located in Wiltshire, it feels completely transported to a snowy realm and filled with the magic of Christmas morning.

Another brand known for their creative and independent style, Anthropologie’s festive fireplace scenes are joyously bold and rich. Chocolate brown, forest green and cherry red bring all the flavours of Christmas with a lively sweetness, accenturated by the drinks and desserts on the tabletop. The decorations are so merry and unapologetic; a huge bow atop a full and bristling tree, multiple coloured garlands lining the mantle and a big pile of presents topped with lavish velvet bows.
These abundant layers of comfort sit wonderfully in the front room of Anders House, a location favoured for its versatility and beautiful light. The marble mantlepiece is the star of the show here, offering a gorgeously grand focal point large enough to be dressed to the nines for the big day.

Opting for deeper hues and tall ceilings, Garden Trading’s decadent dining scenes feature a tablescape of nature-inspired tones and accessories. The overhead centrepiece is carefully laden with fresh foliage and striking origami-like decorations, adding a sense of occasion to the table below. With lovely light and careful composition, the images showcase the earthy materials that encourage slow living in the winter months.
Transformed from its usual pale palette to a moody tone, this shoot really shows the versatility of Upton House. It’s a location that brings a stunning elegance with its pointed windows; their stone surrounds are truly one of a kind and give a nod to the more traditional themes of Christmas.

Warm and inviting, Abask’s new imagery is filled with festive burgundy, vintage browns and golden shimmers. Their Christmas offering feels charming and relaxed, reminiscent of a quiet boxing day unwinding after the excitement of the celebrations before.
Once again Anders House delivers with its versatile collection of rooms and dreamy light. It’s a location that is always in demand, usually sitting in the top five locations for the year and providing an efficient shoot day to clients every time.

Quirky and colourful as ever, Graham & Green’s imagery brings their unique twist on the season which is eye-catchingly fresh. Their playful accessories bring fun and unconventional style, an eccentric toybox of delights that gives the imagination space to roam. Rather than rely on traditional Christmas tropes, their bedroom scene leans into tactile patterned fabrics and shimmering stars on a textured night sky, opening up the season to a more subtle interpretation.
Eagle House’s textured walls provide the glorious canvas for these scenes, creating a shabby-chic vision to be envious of. The huge windows of this Georgian property fill the images with gorgeous light, illuminating each glimmering piece with seasonal sparkle.
From the very start of advent to the last moment of the year, December often seems to race ahead in a kaleidoscope of colour and celebration. How wonderful it is to stop and appreciate the beauty it holds, the creativity beneath and the spaces that bring it to life.
