Prestigious Textiles, Little Greene and Sofa.com recently went on location at Ham House, the achingly gorgeous barn conversion in Wiltshire. Whilst the exterior of this location is breathtaking, these fabulous interior design brands all harnessed the beautiful internal space at Ham House.
We look at what makes Ham House so unique. And at the same time, showcasing the companies who chose the location to present their beautiful products.
The glorious internal open spaces and peaceful countryside setting have always attracted people to Ham House. A charming garden, adorable orchard and delightful wildflower meadow are offered outside. And internally, you’ll find exposed beams, generous windows, and feature staircases to employ as design backdrops.
With all that it has to offer, it’s no surprise that Ham House was our number one location last year. And a photographic makeover for 2021 drew new attention, allowing it to rise even further in popularity. With its magnificent open-plan, full height, main living space, it’s always gathered interest from brands looking to showcase interior design collections.
Little Greene are a UK-based, family-run, eco-friendly brand offering high-quality paints and wallpapers. Little Greene loves to reference periods of interior design, and their recent collection is no exception.
Their National Trust wallpaper collection offers 42 colourways across contemporary designs. Specifically, all the design elements are drawn directly from the wallcoverings in National Trust properties. Tapestries, wallpapers and wall hangings – some on display and others unearthed inside tea chests or hidden behind layers of history. The contemporary interpretation of each design results in a timeless collection of wallpapers. And papers that are perfectly presented on the walls of Ham House.
Tantalising, aspirational and inspirational prints. These are the cornerstones of Prestigious Textiles. Another British brand inspiring homeowners to bring enticing ideas to their interior designs. A firm Light Location favourite, Prestigious Textiles, chose the open spaces at Ham House to present their recent autumn and winter textile collection.
For the photoshoot at Ham House, stylist Jane Sanderson and Photographer Carl Hodgson showcased the Summer House collection. A set of 8 designs offering including linen-look palm prints and a calm colour palette. The result is a distinctive collective offering a generous nod for tropical décor.
We are just a little bit in love with the Ginger chair from furniture favourites Sofa.com. Its swooping curves, cute legs and cosy luxe boucle fabric are to die for. And it’s the perfect marriage between classic luxury and contemporary cool.
The Ginger and its friend, the Larsen sofa bed, were two pieces of Sofa.com’s furniture on show at their recent shoot at Ham House.
