Eagle House is a stunning Georgian house that sits proudly on the outskirts of Bath, featuring a stunning selection of spaces within for all kinds of shoots. Recently, this location welcomed the team from Olana up its grand staircases to shoot their bridalwear collection, creating a beautiful set of images that we couldn’t wait to share.
Olana is a British fashion brand inspired by all things romantic and nostalgic. Their pieces are reminiscent of vintage designs with a little added French flair; think feminine bows and gently flowing skirts. Everything is lovingly considered, with all their garments created from premium and sustainably sourced materials from some of the oldest fabric houses in the UK.
In addition to being beautiful to look at, Olana’s pieces also encourage the wearer to carefully curate their clothing to prioritise quality and choose items which bring out their best days. For this reason, the brand positions itself as part of the conscious, slow-fashion movement with the hopes of their unique and sustainably-made designs holding a place in their customer’s wardrobe and hearts forever.
Olana’s small but talented team of four arrived at Eagle House to shoot their gorgeous made-to-measure bridal collection for both their online store and social media channels. The images were shot by commercial and editorial wedding photographer Emily Montay, with delicate styling by Olana’s own founder Jodie-Leigh Brunt. The result is a set of timeless imagery, illustrating the elevated design of each piece whilst using soft natural light and relaxed posing to show just how wearable they are.
The Eleanor Wedding Dress looks particularly lovely framed by Eagle House’s tall windows, allowing the glow of light to tenderly illuminate its flowing skirt and romantic silhouette. Bathed in neutrals, the Athena Dress looks equally striking as its French silk chiffon skirt ripples down the grand staircase like a misty waterfall.
It’s no wonder that Eagle House was the location of choice for this shoot; the entire property is the very essence of timeless elegance with period features around every corner. The distressed walls of the dining room create a serene backdrop for dreamy flowing dresses, styled beside antique glasswares with hints of glimmering gold.
The spiralling staircase echoes the warm hues of Bath stone whilst the rest of the house is a sea of ivory, a palette so reminiscent of traditional British weddings and again evoking a touch of classic style. The house is filled with light through its many decorative windows, some with ornate archways evocative of romantic tales of long ago.
